Course Reflection:

Literacy and Technology were focused on during this course.  We were asked to help integrate technology in a collaborative setting with peers.  We were also asked to integrate technology into a lesson plan for classroom use.  We were also to take a business managers text an summarize it providing an outline of the text for the betterment of literacy and technology in an educational setting.

How Theme Was Met

The course is designed to develop an understanding of how to create and support technological change in a K-12 schools.  Topics include sources of resistance to change, tools for planning, decision-making and change, creating and supporting a culture for learning and change, and managing and institutionalizing change systems.

Because we worked closely with someone on a technologically advanced project, collaboration was vital to the success of this course.
Leadership and Management

-    Created a photo story about ourselves

-    Read a management book in-depth creating cliffs notes

Again, because we were working closely with some on a technology-related action and we were in the management role, this course works well with the Leadership and Management theme.

·         Students will understand change within educational organizations.

·         Students will demonstrate how to plan for creating and supporting technological change.
