How Theme Was Met

Network management of educational institutions and networks focuses on topics of protocols, security, configuration of storage, backup and performance, and printing, remote access, virtual private networks, tuning and troubleshooting.

 Leadership and Management

-    Working specifically with Server 2008 which is the server software typically used in a K-12 setting.

-    Working with Server Software for betterment of K-12 Schools.

Again, as did CET751, CET 753 works closely with leadership and management.  If technology were not maintained properly, students would not benefit from it.

Goals/Objectives:

  • Develop the skills needed to maintain computer networks.

  • Understand the capabilities of the computer, its impact on education, business, industry and government and understand, evaluate and make use of new and emerging innovations in computer and information technology.

  • Be proficient in the use of application of computer software.

  • Be aware of current trends and issues  in computer education, distance education, electronic communications, computer hardware and software.

  • Use telecommunications-based tools to integrate information into the classroom and the curriculum.

  • Manage instruction, computer technology systems.
